Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a poly cover sleeve and a soft poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I grade a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the eBay grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is a First Edition of a Warner Bros. Records Limited Edition of 250 embossed copies of the original 1977 release.
- The Silver embossed imprint at the bottom right of the front cover reads 'No. 1 For 31 Weeks. Warner Bros. Records Thanks You'.
- The included letter from the late, great Warner Bros. Records Executive V.P. Stan Cornyn cites the milestone sales of 10,000,000 copies of "Rumours" and that only 250 copies of this imprinted album were made.
- This copy has never been played.
- The textured cover has tight seams and shows no wear.
- The original 4-panel cardboard insert is included.
- I have added a soft poly inner sleeve.
- This is a Los Angeles pressing.
- This is a one-owner that the seller, who was a Warner Bros. Records exec, got as one of the lucky 250 people who received this extremely rare piece of memorabilia.
- Note: "Rumours" has sold more than 45 million copies world-wide. So, this is a rare opportunity to own one of 250 copies out of 45 million sold.
