Questa è la prima edizione in vinile che riporta un vasto estratto delle tre leggendarie esibizioni che l’allora band di Peter Green tenne nelle serate del 5-6-7 febbraio del 1970 al ‘Boston Tea Party’. Le registrazioni vennero effettuate con tecniche professionali con l’intenzione di trarne un album ufficiale dal vivo, ma l’improvvisa defezione del leader fece accantonare il progetto. I master furono ripresi in mano nel 1998 e vennero pubblicati nel triplo CD “The Boston Box” l’anno successivo. Questa prima edizione in vinile è una edizione limitata stampata su vinile da 140gram ( 140 Gram Virgin Vinyl ) - Nel 1970, Fleetwood Mac sono subito stati molto popolari, con concerti eseguiti costantemente sia in patria che all'estero, e, nel mese di febbraio, la band riuscì a scuotere Boston grazie ai leggendari tre concerti notturni mozzafiato , tre notti consecutive 5 , 6 e 7 Febbraio 1970. Le performance sono state registrate nella speranza di rilasciare un album dal vivo, ma il frontman Peter Green appena annunciato la sua decisione di lasciare la bandand i nastri sono stati prontamente archiviati. Parte del materiale è uscito su alcuni album nel corso del 1980, ma la qualità del suono è stato sempre povero e molto del materiale è rimasto inedito. Le registrazioni hanno finalmente avuto il  trattamento che meritavano nel 1998, quando i master originali sono stati scoperti e remixati presso il SRT Studios in UK da Nick Watson, e, successivamente, pubblicati l'anno seguente sotto forma di un Box Set di 3 CD  chiamato ' The Box di Boston ', ora, per la prima volta, queste storiche, leggendarie registrazioni vengono portati su vinile! Superbamente presentato con copertina apribile in versione deluxe ' libro-style' con nuove copertine vintage - questo album è sicuramente l'essenziale per gli amanti dei Fleetwood Mac . , prodotto made in Europa .

By 1970 Fleetwood Mac were immensely popular, touring constantly both at home and abroad. In February 1970 the band rocked Boston's legendary 'Boston Tea Party' playing three amazing concerts there for three consecutive nights in a row. The performances were recorded in hopes of releasing a live album, but frontman Peter Green soon announced his decision to quit the band and the masters were promptly shelved. Some of the material eventually trickled out onto a few albums during the 1980s (Jumping at Shadows, Roots-The Original Fleetwood Mac Live in Concert, etc.), but the sound quality was consistently poor and much of the material was left unreleased.

The recordings were finally given the treatment they deserved in 1998 when the orginal masters were uncovered and remixed at SRT Studios in the UK (by Nick Watson). These recordings were released the following year as a 3-CD box set called "The Boston Box" and now, for the first time, are being brought to vinyl, as a 4-disc 'book style' limited edition deluxe collector's LP with new vintage cover art. This is essential Fleetwood Mac by any standards!
