Description

I do not sell copies or bootleg material.

An excellent copy of the 1970's album Kiln House on vinyl with very little wear to the discs apart from a couple of very light marks which are not troublesome. The gatefold sleeve is also excellent for the year with no tears, writing, added labels, major creasing or ring-wear. Disc labels are clean with no significant spindle wear or added writing or additional labels. (See condition description above as well and the addition photographs above)
I send by tracked and signed for delivery in good quality reinforced cardboard cases and separate the discs from the sleeve. I also enclose a good outer plastic sleeve for storage.

REVIEWS:
Thoroughly enjoyable transitional album. The missing link between the previous blues based albums and the rock oriented approach to come. Jeremy Spencer's 1950s / early 60s parodies were a part of their stage show, and they make a bigger contribution here than on earlier albums. I love this album. Kiln House was the place they retreated to to come to a conclusion about what to do without Peter Green. That communal, laid back spirit permeates the album.
Fleetwood Mac's "Kiln House", from 1970, is their first without blues supremo Peter Green and their last without Chicken Shacks's Christine Perfect (soon to marry John McVie and become the famous Christine McVie).

The sound is still blues dominated although beginning to show influences from other genres, such as on the opener "This is the Rock", with its nod to Elvis. Elsewhere Danny Kirwan and Jeremy Spencer begin to develop the special keeness for melodic lines that the band would become famous for.

It makes for an enjoyable mix and it's a good Fleetwood Mac blues-dominated album. personal favourites are "Jewel Eyed Judy" and "Tell Me All the Things You Do".
