I'm Yours

Ko Ko Mo

This is an original pressing. Dead Wax # A side 45-P-53221 298 -- B side 45-P-53220 298. The label bottom reads The Bronzville Record Mfg. Co. Chicago. While the lettering is not as clear as I would like, this can easily be distinguished from the second pressing by virtue of the fact that it is in upper and lower case. The second pressing has all caps and reads BRONXVILLE. This record originally had very heavy black marker writing on the B side and HAS BEEN CLEANED. There is still some residual discoloration that is hardly noticeable unless viewed by side light or from the OPPISITE side. Scan shows darker than actual record. Both sides play with background noise though not constantly. B side has some deep scratches and A side has two divots near the end which click for about 8-9 revs total. I am using an ION turntable with 1 1/4 gr pressure and the record does not skip. I am including full sound tracks of both sides and super sized pictures. You be the judge as to weather this pressing is for you. I am offering this as a ONE WAY transaction since the value of this piece can be viewed too many ways. So please, ASK, LOOK and LISTEN before you bid.

There is a modest opening bid and NO RESERVE. This is a rare opportunity to own a  rare and beautiful offering by one of the premier vocal groups of the genre.

Shipping is free in the USA only.

10: Mint (There is no such thing)

9: Near Mint ( How can that be) Let's just call it the Best your likely to find

8: Better than VG but below 9 -- light surface scuffing, good shine, ringwear, plays clean

7: Very Good -- heavier surface scuffing, ringwear and some pops and clicks

6: Better than good but below very good -- scuffs and scratches, ringwear, plays noisy

5: Good -- you can hear the song and if your ears are bad, it won't make a lot of difference

4 to 1: We won't even consider unless it's a recognizable copy of an obscure classic that can just be made to play. Then we'll give it a 9.

How much would you pay for a scratched and noisy copy of Golden Teardrops a on first press Red Wax Chance?
