GRADING

Most stuff i sell is unwanted from my collection or unwanted purchases, I grade records in a fairly standard way in a record/sleeve order:

Mint (M)

I will only use this for a sealed item with no damage to any of packaging.

M-

absolutely no markings - possibly the faintest finger print although i do give records a once over with record cleaner if needed. This grading is generally for items i have bought and possibly played once and decided its not quite for me.

VG++

very clean shiny vinyl but with one or two faint hairline marks but these do not affect play/sound in anyway. Sleeve very clean with possibly with the faintest of crease or wear to the corners.

VG+

clean vinyl but a bit more noticeable markings, possibly the faintest click or background noise in quieter parts of the music. Sleeve has a little more wear to corners/spine or maybe a little discolouration in places.

VG

more noticeable markings and a bit more background noise, but totally playable and no jumping. Sleeve as VG+ but a little more noticeable, maybe slight seam splitting also. but generally in good shape and in one piece

VG-

sound quality deteriorated in places but on the whole still very playable. Sleeve has significant deterioration/seam splits. Possibly slight liquid damage or tear but in OK shape.

Its very rare I would attempt to sell anything in less than the above conditions. Also if there is anything particular (sticker or something similar) that needs mentioning about condition I will always say in the item description, particularly if the item is a bit more collectable or of a higher price. If there is ever a problem with an item please get in touch and we can sort something out. I do try to be straight up with all this so id like to think people out there do the same back. This is not my living, i just do it to feed my habit :)

POSTAGE COSTS

  • 12"/LP - £3.50 1st class - each extra record 50p - double LPs count as 2 etc
  • 7" - £1.50 1st class - each extra record 30p
  • CD - £1.50 1st class - each extra CD 30p

I will post items to Europe and North America - please ask for a quote. Other global destinations possible also - again please ask.
