Description
If you wish to add this title to your collection be sure you know what you are getting. This is not a reissue. While the album was originally released as a CD on Warner Bros in 1999, the original double lp was not released until 2002. I know--I snapped it up around then thinking I missed out on the original vinyl release when, in fact, it WAS the original vinyl release. Since I already owned the CD (!) this copy didn't see much turntable-time. The recent version of Ebay's seller interface allows for barcode entry, which I believe leads to the automatic introduction of misleading information regarding the edition. The barcode printed on the back cover is 8 05551 01091 7. There is a sticker on the shrink with the barcode 80025 75540. 'PIASA-9' is etched into the run-outs. 'DMM' (Direct Metal Mastering) is also etched into the run-outs. [PIAS] America is printed on each label. This is a gatefold edition; as it is contained in original shrink, I did not photograph the interior.
I do not give out grades above vg+ for anything that has been removed from its original packaging.
vinyl = vg+; clean and glossy, sound is crisp and clear cover = vg+; 10" shear in the shrink wrap, along top edge; NO splitting, rubbing or edge wear
