Hi folks, it´s summer-time and I have to gain some money for my holidays. So i decieded to sell some of my copies i own double. This time here we have the legendary, almost impossible to find original The Fix - Jan's room Ep. This jewel was released 1981 by well-known Touch & Go Records. It has the old Lansing, MI address where it all started on the back. The original 5.5x8 inches insert with typed lyrics and a picture of a mace known as 'Mace insert' is also included. Note that that the third song 'Signal' is called 'Signals in distress' on the record label. Only 1000 records were made of this piece of history.
Legendary second ep of the midwest hardcore heroes who were the first band ever signed at Touch & Go Records, formerly spelled 'Rekords' because Dave Stimson, the guy who made the first The Fix and Necros ep ran out of a 'c' for records at Lansing college. The cover of the ep appeared first at the front of the eigth issue of T&G magazine and then was re-used for the second (and unfortunately last) single of The Fix. Fast and angry hardcore with the most savage and raw sound you can imagine. As i said a piece of history, an absolute must-have.
Vinyl is (graded conservatively with Goldmine Standard) in near mint (NM) condition. No scratches, glossy, very few slight marks only. Nothing that could effect playing (Every record is visually graded under halogen light and its playback with a high-sensitive high-end Denon multicoil pick-up system)
Original 'Mace insert' is in near mint (NM) to mint (M) condition. Like new, no wrinkles, no breaks in the fold.
Cover is in near mint (NM) condition. Very few slight wrinkles in the paper cover, no creases around the edges . No ringwear on front, no ringwear on the back, no seamsplits, no breaks in the lower fold.
Haven´t seen this record a long time in this absolutely pristine condition. Don´t miss this one-time opportunity to add this jewel to your punk rock collection!!!
