Description
The Five Satins "In The Still Of The Nite" b/w "The Jones Girl" on Standord 6106 from 1956. The record is in VG+ condition with some lite background hiss. I have had (2) copies of this record before and they both had some degree of this type of background sound. I believe it was the way they were pressed. The sound is not overpowering at all. It appears that the record might have spent a little time in a jukebox as there are some swirls on the wax but it has not been "juked" by any means. The dead wax #'s are: XL 200 6106A-45 & XL 200 6106B-45. The labels are as shown (hard to find clean labels on these issues). Very nice playing copy of a rare pressing of the #1 doowop classic of all time! A must have for any group collection. Buyer to add $3.00 shipping ($6.00 to Europe).
