Description

Fishbone – Truth And Soul Asbestos/Columbia 2014 NM/NM RSD Red Vinyl Ska Punk

CVNH Catalog Number: EN-127

Released for Record Store Day Black Friday 2014, this cherry red vinyl reissue of Truth and Soul reintroduces one of the most genre-defying albums of the late ’80s. Originally dropped in 1988, Fishbone’s landmark LP fuses ska, punk, funk, and soul into a political and musical Molotov cocktail—remastered and pressed on vibrant red wax for the crate-digging faithful.

Track Highlights

• Freddie’s Dead – Curtis Mayfield cover turned funk-punk anthem

• Ma and Pa – explosive social commentary with horn-driven chaos

• Bonin’ in the Boneyard – legendary bass groove clinic

• Ghetto Soundwave – dub-tinged rebellion

• Change – powerful closer, equal parts soul and protest
