Description
This is a fine original pressing copy of a top-shelf rarity, the Fifth Pipe Dream various artists LP released in 1968 on the San Francisco Sound label. The record includes tracks, unavailable elsewhere at the time, by It's a Beautiful Day and Tripsichord Music Box, as well as tracks by Seattle's West Coast Natural Gas (named Indian Puddin and Pipe on the release) and San Francisco's Black Swan. The jacket has wear in the corners and along the spine, edge, and seams, as well as light ring wear at the bottom of the front and back covers. There is also some light staining along the top of the jacket inside the gatefold. Overall VG++. I'm grading the disc EX++ and not M- because it has a few superficial scuffs.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs (since I no longer have a turntable), and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
