Description
- Christian Ferras - Pierre Barbizet - Mozart sonatas for violin and piano KV 305 - KV 376 .
- Very Rare - Decca France - LX 3141 - First original edition -
- Condition :
- Record : VG (+)
- There is four light pressing defaults ( four little bubbles ) on the B side , then one bubble on the A side. There is some scratches on the two sides but without incidence on the sound. - Side A : Moderate surface noise on the first movement ( thud on the bubble during five revolutions ) . Moderate crackling on the second movement then light saturation at the very end of the side .
- Side B : On the major part of the first movement, you can hear a thud caused by the presence of the 3 bubbles ( it's a very short movement ) but the music is still enjoyable. On the second movement there is a light surface noise and light crackling in some places. There is one bubble on the third movement that caused another thud, but it's very brief.
In conclusion : Despite the visually condition of the record, the sound is very good and some passages are excellents. There is no distortion , important surface noise or loud "clicks". Except the light saturation at the very end of the two sides and the thud caused by the bubbles the music has no major deterioration. During the all playing the sound of the violin and the piano is clear, very warm and present.
