Description
Here is the very rare (in any condition) LP 'Why Black Man Day Suffer.......' by Fela Ransome-Kuti and The Africa '70 with Ginger Baker. Recorded at Ginger's ARC studios in Lagos, Nigeria.
This example was particularly 'Used' to say the least! Jacket torn, records shows scuffs and scratches but magically still plays through with some noise of course, I went ahead and gave it a proper clean with the Disc Doctor solution (the resulting rinsed solution may as well passed for black coffee!) quite dirty indeed but much better now. *NOTE: Handwriting on Side B label.
I have cared for this well and placed it in full archival grade materials; Japanese sleeve, cardstock LP filler pad separator with record in anti-static sleeve on one side and jacket on the other. Displayed this way makes it look much nicer. You'll likely want to start with this copy to complete your collection but perhaps stay on the hunt for a nicer example (if you are so lucky to find without paying 1,000+ dollars/pounds!)
