Fats Domino LP ( Carry on Rockin' ). London HA - P 2041. This is Fats 2nd album and is the rarest of all his albums. This doesn't turn up at all, well rarely turns up. Take a look at Elvis's HMV albums they turn up more often and are considered rarer. This record was pressed in 1956. The sleeve is in EX condition for a record of this age. It is fully laminated with a tiny bit of lifting here and there. The half moon flip overs are in good condition with no real damage. The spine is pretty good but there is edge wear on the other sides. There appears to be some light tape residue down the opening edge on the front and on the flip overs. ( please look at photo's ). The record is housed in the original poly lined inner sleeve. The labels are in EX condition and have only light spindle marks, probably not been played that much. The disc is in EX condition with only very light surface marks and no deep scratches. I have played this record all the way through and it sounds brilliant. There is no jumping or sticking. There is minimal cackle, if any that i can remember. A really nice record for the early 50's rock ' n ' roll collector. When this record does turn up for sale the sleeve is usually shot to pieces and the disc is not much better. Good enough for an upgrade. Good luck with the bidding.
