Description

The year was 2004 and I just finished selling merch for Fall Out Boy on stupid Warped Tour for two weeks. Grueling 18 hour days, up at 6am to load in and finishing loading boxes and bins back in the trailer around midnight, made Jim and I really skinny and ridiculously cranky.
A few days after we returned home, Pete told me that he would give us a few bucks if we would unload merch from the van and trailer and dump it in his parents garage. It was still hot and I wasn't as miserable but I was still a little broke so I agreed. We were cleaning dirty socks and Gatorade bottles filled with urine out from the back when I saw a box of records opened and under the back seat. I opened the box and said, "Hey, can I take one of these?" And held up a record. Pete said, "Yeah." I asked if he had the camouflage vinyl and he said, "I think we were supposed to press 500 of black and 500 of the camo but the run of black was short so it actually makes the black ones a bit more rare." So I took the black.
This record is the black version taken directly from underneath the back seat of the van we used to tour Warped tour in 04. Less than 500 copies were made and I can tell you from the look of some of that merch, even less have survived over the years. It has not only never been played but never even taken out of the sleeve. It is in absolute perfect condition, has stayed in a non-smoking house, and hasn't seen more than 15 minutes of actual day light.
This is the original cover they shot but was later turned down by the label.
