Faith - Subject to Change EP - Dischord #11 ("Eleventy") harDCore punk - 1983 Fourth Pressing w/ black vinyl - NEAR MINT
This second release from DC hardcore punk band Faith was issued by Dischord in December 1983, after they had broken up.
Fourth pressing is still collectible, pressed on black vinyl (not translucent blue), with "COVER PRINTED IN CANADA" and "$4.00" price on back cover (the price was raised to $5.00 for subsequent pressings). Estimated 6500 copies were made in various vinyl colors through this pressing, the record sold so quickly that Dischord needed to rush new copies to market. Plain inner sleeve, includes single-sided printed lyric sheet insert and a Dischord product flyer. Also identifiable through matrix runout info. Please feel free to verify features of various release versions on Discogs if you have any concerns.
Overall condition is Near Mint. Vinyl is NM, just some very slight scuffs. Sleeve is NM with just the faintest beginnings of ring wear. Inserts are NM with no notable flaws.

"Subject to Change deserves to be thought of as one of the first melodic hardcore records, as significant to the form as Bad Religion or the Descendants.... This release began to push the boundaries of early post-hardcore... and was a seminal influence on the early emocore movement in Washington, D.C." (according to one critic).
Grading is subjective, I am not a professional dealer. I try to place myself in the position of the buyer and be as accurate as possible, listing any notable defects.
Shipping in US via USPS Ground Advantage, it's a bit more expensive but you'll get it quicker with less likelihood of loss or damage. I do not ship Media Mail, please do not ask. (The only shipments I've ever had "go missing" were sent Media Mail.) Shipping to other countries is via eBay International Shipping.
