Description
The Real Thing is the third studio album by American rock band Faith No More, released on June 20, 1989, by Slash and Reprise Records. It is the first album to feature singer Mike Patton, following the dismissal of previous vocalist Chuck Mosley. On this album, Faith No More continued to advance their sound range, combining alternative metal, funk metal, and rap metal. Some of the melodic & chord progressions anticipate the soon-to-commence Grunge movement.
This vinyl disc is in excellent shape. It has micro-scratches & several stains that don't effect playback. But the playback is "near mint" (note: listened to on an Audio-Technica AT LP60 turntable.) The cardboard sleeve has some wear on the edges, and the original paper inner sleeve has splits on 3 sides.
