I grade my records using the Goldmine Standard. This is all listed in the item specifics of this ad but buyers tend to overlook it.
Grading Scale (Goldmine Standard) The scale ranges from best to worst, with intermediate grades often using plus (+) or minus (-) modifiers:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed, and often still sealed; no visible defects on media or sleeve. Near Mint (NM): Appears very lightly played with no visible wear; the sleeve has no creases, folds, or seam splits. Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows slight signs of play like light scuffs or minor ring wear, but does not affect the listening experience. Very Good (VG): Noticeable surface wear, light scratches, and some surface noise during soft passages; sleeve may have turned corners or minor seam splits. Good (G) / Good Plus (G+): Significant surface noise, visible groove wear, and skips are possible; sleeve often has seam splits, tape, or writing. Poor (P) / Fair (F): Cracked, badly warped, or skipping; sleeve is heavily damaged, water-damaged, or missing. If you want additional pics or have any questions, feel free to DM me.
