Beginning From An End
(UK RCA SF 8155 1970)
Now then, this is a rare one. Most people will be familiar with the actual LP from it’s release on the RCA Neon label. But prior to that issue it was issued very briefly on the main RCA Victor label and then withdrawn as it was decided it make it the first release on Neon instead. This is the original RCA version which is housed in a far superior, textured, gatefold sleeve and is very difficult to find.
Sleeve Condition - EX
Front Sleeve – Very nice example, very clean with nice vibrant colours. No tears, no ink marks, still noticeably textured, no real issues at all.
Rear Sleeve – Again, very nice, Very clean, no tears, no ink marks, a couple of small, light, creases near the open edge but they’re nothing serious.
Spine – Nice and wide, there is a couple of dots of wear at the top and bottom but all of the writing clearly readable.
Top Seam – A few dots of wear, nothing serious.
Bottom Seam – A couple of patches of light wear.
Labels – Both very clean with no wear or damage of any kind.
Record condition: EX
Very nice clean vinyl, there are a couple of extremely light scuff marks on side 1 but you’ll only see them with the light angled at just the right direction, these have no bearing on the sound at all (and indeed, are hardly visible even under the right conditions). Plays extremely well throughout with no noticeable suface noise at all.
A very nice example of a pretty scarce record.
