Fairport Convention
"Unhalfbricking"
A great example of this album. Original 1969 Island black "eye" album. Matrix numbers are ILPS9102 A/1 & B/1 which would indicate a very early (first?) pressing. This album is 42 years old and you would expect appreciable wear but no, this album is in excellent condition. I have graded the cover Ex+ The front has no noticable creases and the spine is near perfect, the rear likewise is unmarked except it has an imprint of my address when I bought this in 1969 although you will hardly pick it up ( see photos- with zoom to look at closely) The vinyl I grade as Ex+ also. It is bright, shiny, jet black with no signs of wear - no scratches or scuffs . However, as was my naivity back then, I wrote my initials (tm) on one of the labels ( see photo again). No need to add much more, it is a fine example for any collection. It has been in mine since new and has always been kept upright in a clear protective cover so there is no sign of "ring- wear"
If you like what I sell and want to own albums that have had one careful owner and not been "round the block a few times" then mark me as a favourite seller and watch out for further "gems" from my collection that I will be listing!
