Beethoven - Symphony No. 5 in C Minor

LPM 18 724 Mono. Recorded 1947
Condition:
Sleeve: Excellent (a little rubbed with a couple of small marks on reverse).
Vinyl: Near Mint - this vinyl looks brilliant and in about as near Mint condition as one would hope to find, the sound is fantastic. Labels are absolutely perfect with little or no wear to spindle holes.
Description:
This ultra rare DGG 'Tulip' recording was recorded live on 27th May 1947 at the Funkhaus, Masurenallee, Berlin (this performance was previously known as recorded at Titania Palast, but a later inquiry showed the recording was done at Masurenallee, Berlin. The hall was occupied by USSR Army, and this performance was at studio with audience).
The sleeve of this disk is made of extra thick cardboard and is very heavy, the spine is black with yellow lettering. The cover states 'Direct Import - Factory Sealed'.
