Description
Scarce reissue of the self-titled 1970 debut album from Funkadelic from 1989 on the Westbound label (Cat. #WB-2000 on the jacket; #WD-2000 on the labels). This version was Direct Metal Mastered from digital tapes and has great sound quality! Trail-outs read "098 DMC-7788 A 1/5-89" on Side 1 and "098 DMC-7788 B 1/5-89" on Side 2.
Vinyl and labels are beautiful, excellent in appearance. Side 1 plays excellent, while Side 2 is a nice VG+. (Both sides have some light, minor surface noise audible between songs, likely due to the pressing quality.) Overall, it is a very enjoyable listening experience! The jacket has a small missing area of laminate from removal of a price tag, as well as some creasing, moderate storage wear, and corner bumps. It also has writing inside the open edge. (Please see photos for greater detail.) A nice copy of this hard-to-find disc!
