Description
What I’m offering is a funk 45 by The Honey Drippers titled Impeach The President b/w Roy C.’s Theme Song, issued on Alaga AL-1017 in 1973. This is the true 1st press on Alaga with the AL-1017-A WE/ AL-1017-B WE matrix number and not the later reissue on Alaga from 2017.
The 45 is in strong VG+ condition on both sides. Side one, which features a drum break/ loop, has one small press bubble that is not audible due to the beat and the volume of the music, and a couple of small surface marks that are totally inaudible and does not affect its play. Side two has one tiny nick to the grooves that is totally inaudible and does not affect its play.
There is a slight bit of underlying background noise during playback. Not bad.
