ORIGINAL 1ST UK PRESS  (STEREO) PRESSING CAT NO 594 001 ON THE ORIGINAL BLUE REACTION LABELS!  TOP! TOP! NEAR MINT AUDIO THROUGHOUT!  PLAYED A MINIMAL AMOUNT OF TIMES ONLY! UNBELEIVABLE 43 YEARS OLD!! A#1 B#1 MATRIX EARLIEST EVER E.DAY 1ST ISSUE LAMINATED FRONT COVER.

Another from my personal collection! An awesome sounding original (STEREO UK pressing) For any of those who know the records that I list on ebay would know my prime interest is the audio quality,   This has a true bassey feel and plays through with out distortion clicks or pops! Please do not underestemate the rarety of this 1st issue stereo. These early originals are the only way to hear this album in my opinion very very rare to find in this condition.  Please note! There is light ware and tare with age, in the form of light creases at the rear of the cover, but having said that the cover is strong and straight without splits or tares.

THE AUDIO IS RATED AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES! THIS IS HIGHLY COLLECTABLE AND SOUGHT AFTER LIKE THIS PLAYED AND TESTED  ON A TOP SYSTEM AT VERY LOUD VOLUME PRIOR TO THIS LISTING!

Fresh Cream is the debut studio album by British supergroup Cream. 

It was the first LP release of producer Robert Stigwood's new "Independent" Reaction Records label, released in the United Kingdom as both a mono and stereo version on 9 December 1966, the same time as the single release of "I Feel Free".!

The album was released a month later, in January 1967, in the United States by Atco Records as both a mono and a stereo version. To date, neither the original UK nor US mono versions have been officially released on CD, only the stereo versions, though "I'm So Glad" was only mixed into mono.!!

The album peaked at No..6 on the UK album chart and No. 39 on the US album chart.!

The Vinyl

On visual inspection this vinyl looks absolutely superbe! The vinyl lays perfectly flat on the turntable! This is the original 1st issue ,heavier thicker type of vinyl with deeper grooves only found on these original 1st pressings! They are also more robust than later pressings which were more flimsier! In strong light only could possibly any very light whispy surface marks/scuffs  be seen these are mainly Sleeve removal only importantly there are no audio sounding marks that caused any interference that I heard,, no clicks or pops!

The Audio Quality

 I CAN'T SEE ANY NEEDLE OR AUDIO SOUNDING MARKS OR SCRATCHES Please note!  Certainly (no) marks that are audio sounding that I heard that would produce any loud clicks or pops during the audio at all!  I have played this through track for track as usual on a top system at very loud volume using a dedicated mono cartridge!! and the audio is rated at the top graded as good as it gets on any format in my opinion !  This is cristal clear and vibrant through out. This plays with (no) signs of any distortion or that this has been overplayed WHAT SO EVER!  mega mega rare like this in mono! I would class myself as highly critacle! Please look at my completed listings of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right Audio is graded at the top! I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO EXCELLENT PLUS TO VERY NEAR MINT IN MY OPINION!  You will find the audio quality on this vinyl hard to surpass!

Please note! I always make this disclaimer! Please allow for the odd surface background static in between tracks  (not) consistant throughout the audio! Please remember that this is a genuine 45 year old vinyl (not a reissue) that would have originally been played on a 45 year old system!

Please note! This has been stored in a case for at least 40 years! Any static crackle that might be heard during some quiet parts could be minimised by constant cleaning before each play in my experiance!, Build up of dust and dirt that has accumulated over the years from the vinyl being stored, and laying dormant causes most of this problem so please allow for some light static crackle as  previously mentioned! I would class myself as highly critical ! Please look at my completed listings of records that I have sold of this calaber and you will see that I normally get it right!

The Labels

This features the original ((STEREO))  blue REACTION  labels  in superbe condition (no) nasty writing. Just minimal amount of spidering can barely just be seen angled to the light only. This certainly has not been overplayed at all! (very rare for a pressing of this age) ''made in England'' text is featured (this is a UK pressing) little if (no) spindleware the hole is perfectly round!  GENUINE 45 YEAR OLD PRESSING!

The Record Sleeve

This is a plain white sleeve without splits or tares! (see photos)

The condition of this 1ST ISSUE E.DAY & CO PRINTED Laminated front only cover, is strong and straight! Lovely and super glossy laminate , Any rubbing ware with age is minimal barely noticed at the edges and spine only and some light ringware at the rear. Please note! There is very minimal laminate creases to talk of at the front to mention ! Please note this is the genuine 1st issue stereo cover (features the stereo catalogue number at the rear ) (see photos)!  This is graded at excellent in my opinion!
