Welcome To Subterranean Records
As some of you may know, after 17+ years of doing business in New York City we were forced to close our retail shop on February 1st, 2008. Due to insane increases in rents in our area we decided not to re-open but rather sell the remaining stock from our shop here on eBay's pages. There will be some exceptionally rare items from both our shop and my own personal collection.
Item: Rare UK deep groove vinyl LP of "Tons of Sobs" on the pink Island label with the white I in gatefold cover with beautiful b& w photos by Richard Bennett Zeff. This classic Free LP was produced by Guy Stevens(Mott The Hoople/Spooky Tooth). The vinyl is beautiful at VG++, the only thing keeping from being near mint is a minor surface mark, it's got all of the sheen of a new LP. The labels are spotless with a few spindle marks. The cover has some light shelf and ring wear. Overall, a beautiful copy of this LP.
