I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, I always purchased the best copies I could find and looked after them carefully. Some I only played once. This is the Very rare 1969 Pink `i` Island label copy of `Tons Of Sobs` by Free, pressed on Heavy Thick Vinyl it plays superb - Matrix: ILPS 9089 A2 - ILPS 9089 B2
Vinyl (EX++) Heavy Thick Vinyl, Plays superb (this is due to the thickness of the vinyl) with no sticks or jumps etc, even under bright halogen lights I can only see lightest sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches great copy!!
Labels - Original clean Pink`i` labels - some visible spindle lines, minimal play over it`s 50+ years
Sleeve (EX) `Ernest J Day & co Ltd` gatefold Sleeve, matt finish very prone to wear but this copy is in Great condition with just light edge/coverwear, has 2.A on tape top right rear for cataloging purposes (Please see photos for complete overview)
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out! I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
