***I have recently acquired a large collection of collectable records in great condition; please keep checking my listings for additions. Due to the volume, I may not have time to play grade all of them as usual, but will happily do so on request. If a record hasn't been play graded, this will be clearly stated in the listing. Thanks for looking***

A GREAT COPY OF A TRUE ISLAND COLLECTIBLE
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: EX/EXCELLENT(+); this has been completely play graded from start to finish and both sides played through nicely with a bright clear audio. There is some light noise at the start of each side and between tracks + a little light crackle towards the end of each side. Otherwise, the record sounded great.
I haven't cleaned the record, but no doubt the sound could even improve if given the benefit of a professional clean.
VINYL VISUAL: EX/EXCELLENT(+); the vinyl retains a lovely sheen and looks great. Under bright natural light, there is the odd light superficial surface mark noticeable. My halogen lamp showed up some the odd ultra-fine hairline and wispy sleeve removal marks. Looks great.
LABELS: Both totally fine with the odd small light age spot on each (see photos below).
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT; the matt gatefold sleeve is in great condition. The only blemishes are some light wear to the spine (all text still legible) and some tiny light age spots and very mild signs of age to the interior centrefold. Looks fantastic.
***INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES APPEAR BELOW THE PHOTO GALLERY; THE DEFAULT RATE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE - PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE IF YOUR ORDER IS UNDER £50***
***UK BUYERS PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ITEMS WITH A FINAL SALE VALUE IN EXCESS OF £46 MUST BE SENT VIA SPECIAL DELIVERY AT THE RATE SHOWN***

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping costs will be discounted.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
