On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Free called "Tons Of Sobs" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK Pressing on the RAREST EVER 'Textured' Pink Island 'Block' label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS WAS FREE'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  TOWARDS THE END OF 1969 ISLAND CHANGED THEIR LABELS FROM THE 'CIRCLE' LOGO TO THE 'BLOCK' ISLAND LOGO INSTEAD.  HOWEVER, CLEARLY THEY WERENT HAPPY WITH THIS LABEL (AS IT ONLY LASTED ABOUT 1 MONTH!) - AND ALMOST IMMEDIATELY CHANGED IT AGAIN TO THE VERY COMMON 'PINK i' LOGO LABEL WHICH WAS USED THROUGHOUT THE REST OF 1969 AND THROUGHOUT 1970.  AND WHEN THIS 'BLOCK' LOGO LABEL WAS USED - FREE WAS STILL FAR FROM BECOMING FAMOUS, AND SALES OF THEIR FIRST LP (THIS ONE) WERE STILL EXTREMELY POOR!!!!  THEIR BIG HIT 'ALL RIGHT NOW' DIDN'T COME UNTILL 1970 - AND THIS IS WHY SALES OF THIS LP ON LATER 'PINK i' LOGO WERE GOOD, AND THE PINK i LOGO COPIES ARE VERY COMMON INDEED (YOU SEE THEM ALMOST EVERY WEEK).  HOWEVER, THIS 'BLOCK' LOGO QUITE LITERALLY ONLY EVER HAD 1 OR TWO BATCHES EVER MADE (AROUND 1000 COPIES ONLY!) AND IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE!!!!  IT IS AT LEAST 5 TIMES RARER THAN THE 'CIRCLE' LOGO THAT CAME BEFORE, AND 50 TIMES RARER THAN THE VERY COMMON 'PINK i' LOGO COPIES THAT YOU SEE ALMOST EVERY WEEK!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING OF THIS LP EVER MADE, AND THE CHANCES OF EVER SEEING ANOTHER ONE AGAIN, ARE VIRTUALLY ZERO!!!!

AND FOR ONCE THIS LP HAS AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING CONDITIONED 1ST PRESS COVER - AND IS THE BEST CONDITIONED 1ST PRESS COVER I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - WITH A STUNNING COVER FOR ONCE!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'RAREST EVER' ISLAND 'BLOCK LOGO' PRESSING ON THE RAREST EVER 'TEXTURED' ISLAND 'BLOCK' LOGO LABEL, ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE, AND  1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD COVER (WITH THE 1ST PRESS 'FULL' ISLAND LOGOs ON THE COVER!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Island UK Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is ILPS 9089 on the 'Textured' Pink 'Block' Island label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels (see pictures) have NO stickers, NO wear (apart from a TINY touch around the centre holes!), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks AT ALL, 1 surface scuff, NO nasty 'tick' marks AT ALL, only a few VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 visible (but NON sounding!) scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a very VERY presentable record, that plays VERY well indeed!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold Cover is in absolutely STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), NO splits, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO rips, NO tears, only a VERY few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY AS THE ALL TIME RAREST PRESSING EVER MADE, 1000 COPIES ONLY - AND WITH AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING COVER FOR ONCE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
