FREE – TONS OF SOBS, ILPS 9089 – 1969 UK 1st PRESS, Black/Orange LOGO
The Free’s debut album "Tons of Sobs" on the original 1969 UK stereo 1st pressing pink Island label with a black & orange "circle" logo, catalogue number ILPS 9089. Matrix numbers ILPS+9089+A2 and ILPS+9089+B2. The gatefold sleeve is the 1st issue made by EJ Day with a matt finish. Both record labels have a textured finish.
The disc is in great, shiny condition with occasional barely visible hairline marks – these are totally inaudible and the disc plays perfectly throughout. The gatefold sleeve is intact but VERY scruffy with serious wear on edges and corners and scuffing of matt finish; small "15" sticker on top left front.
