This is the UK 2nd Press of 'Free' by Free. This press is on the rare textured Pink Rim Island label and is pressed on superb original heavy vinyl. It has the early A-4 /B-4 matrix and is complete with the original matt gatefold EJ Day sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational deep gloss, with just a couple of hairline marks. It is in wonderful condition. On playing the sound is extremely warm, rich and clear. The textured pink rim Island label is completely clean, the white is bright, the colours are bold and the text is sharp. There is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The matt EJ Day gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The sleeve has the superb original sheen and the image is still extremely sharp. It is very clean with bold colours and sharp text. There is a little edge wear, light ring wear and the back has some discolouration. The inside of the gatefold is very bright, the inside is still sharp with the slightest wear. The spine is firm with clear text and the whole sleeve is extremely solid.
