This band were leaders in progressive blues-rock, and even rivaled Led Zeppelin as first exponents of this genre - perhaps being MORE original in writing their own compositions without being in any way derivative, or borrowing from other originals!
Paul Rodgers is hailed as the best vocal talent by many people, and Paul Kossoff (son of tv minister David Kossoff) was among the top guitarists of the time.
Sadly his drug addiction was to lead to an early death - a mercurial talent in his prime.
This lp is their second release, and it's great!
Already a matured evidence of their direction, this is perhaps a little more cohesive as an album than the first lp.
CONDITION;
VINYL NEAR MINT
A nice copy, the music projects from the vinyl with vivid clarity, a wonderful player.
Original rough pink 'i' LABLES are VG++, due to a light pen scribble at the centre.
The GATEFOLD COVER is VG with general wear, a 'NK' sticker and 'x' in pen at the front and rear. Still a solid example.
Overall a decent album that's tough to find in such nice playing condition.
