Description

FREE " FREE " SECOND ALBUM ON ISLAND RECORDS ILPS - 9104 in STEREO on WHITE "i" PINK LABEL

OUTSTANDING FOLLOW UP ALBUM TO "TONS OF SOBS" FROM FREE, RELEASED IN 1969.

Superb Very Sturdy Heavy Duty Vinyl, typical of the late 60's Issues, Collectors Gem.

Side 1 : I'll Be Creepin': Songs Of Yesterday; Lying In The Sunshine; Trouble On Double Time; Mouthfull Of Grass.

Side 2 : Woman; Free Me; Broad Daylight; Mourning Sad Morning.

An Absolutely Outstanding Album by probably one of the greatest British Rock/Blues Bands of the sixties, FREE, with strong Blues influence from the highly talented Paul Rogers, Paul Kossoff, unfortunately taken before his time, the great Simon Kirke and Andy Fraser. Recorded and released in 1969, and must be one of the greatest 60's "Rock and Blues" Albums of all time. British Rock/Blues at its Finest.

A Very Rare Record. The record is in excellent condition, on the ISLAND Label. The labels are the early rich PINK with the White "i". Both sides show no little signs of any spindle marking and there is no wear to the centre hole. (See photos.)

The Vinyl is exceptionally clean, nice solid 60's Vinyl and the Record plays extremely well, the sound quality is first class. The surface of the record is excellent and is virtually free from surface marks, scratches and scuffs, only very, very light surface marks, noticable only under srtong light, only to be expected ot this age. Slight hiss only on lead ins to each side and the very quiet tracks, still a gives a superb sound quality. Lovely Nice Rich High Gloss Deep Black Vinyl and Classic Stereo sound. All round Excellent Record.

This is a superb example of FREE's finest albums, "FREE" is a true collectors classic.

The Gatefold Sleeve is in excellent condition. This is the very early sturdy card sleeve which has a delicate non laminated Island First Issue Cover which was succeptable to wear and heavy staining. There are No creases, tears, unwanted stickers or rips on the sleeve, or on the record labels. All the outer edges are sharp and totally intact and in very good order with only small signs of edge wear or creasing. Has a name and date, (February 1970, adds to the authenticity), dicreetly written on the rear, but in no way affects the condition. The corners are also in excellent order with very little signs of wear, dents or creases. The spine is absolutely rigid and the text on the spine is totally intact, the spine is the early example wide spine, there is very little wear to the spine despite the delicate paper of the cover, the opening edges to the sleeve are sharp and crease free. Lovely example of this rare classic record.

Record comes complete with the original polythene lined inner paper sleeve
