Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare U.K. first STEREO pressing of Free – Free on the PINK ISLAND label with the white “i” logo, label, cat. no. ILPS 9104.
The record is in EX (minus) condition, there are only a few non-sounding hairlines and a non-sounding line on the first track of side 1. The labels are in EX condition, there are a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG+++ condition, there is some slight handling and storage wear on the front and back and the spine has some age browning and a couple tiny bald spots, but the titles are still legible. Besides mentioned small imperfections, there is nothing wrong with the cover, no writing, no rips or tears or other damage. The record comes with its original Polydor company inner sleeve, which is in EX condition.
This is a very rare U.K. pressing of Free’s second album on the PINK ISLAND label. These PINK ISLAND records are becoming very scarce nowadays, so this is your chance to complete your Free, Paul Rodgers, progressive or PINK ISLAND label collection. Happy Bidding!
