THE FREE DESIGN - "There Is A Song". (ambrotype1016; stereo; circa 1970). RARE copy of this excellent private folk rock LP from Rochester, NY. Recorded at Mantra Sound Studios, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Players: Sandy, Ellen and Chris Dedrick: all vocals. With: Chris Dedrick - guitars, recorder, piano etal; Tom Szcesnick - bass, electric piano; Gary Gauger - percussion, drums. Cuts: "Canada in springtime, Kum ba yah, Peter paul and mary, Pineapple crabapple, The symbols ring, Stay, I wanna be there, There is a song, A child is born, Love does not die, Chorale, Fugue". **Vinyl is VG, shiny bright, light surface marks, some light surface noise.
