Description

Here's an great LP from FREDDIE KING.  A US OG MONO 1960'S PRESSING of BOSSA NOVA AND BLUES.  On the KING LABEL.  CAT# KING821.  Freddie was an early guitar god, who broke out with LPs starting in 1961.  From 61-65 he released 5 great albums that are each classics, and widely influential.  Guys like Clapton and Hendrix would be influenced by him, with Clapton once saying that everything I know about playing guitar, I learned from Freddie King..  This LP is on the blue label which was released around 1966.  It was originally released on the black label in 1963.  Often with King and Chess labels the blue and black labels were interchangeable on the first pressings, making it difficult to identify.  However, either way this record remains very rare, as there were only 2 US pressings of this amazing album, and Freddie was great, but not a big seller. 
COVER NEAR MINT.  Absolutely stunning cover.  There's a top right small 1/8" corner ding.
VINYL   NEAR MINT.   A PERFECT PLAY. Super rare in such condition.
