FREDDIE HUBBARD "Blue Spirits" RVG, Blue Note BST 84196 Stereo Vinyl

This is the "VAN GELDER" stamped pressing of  FREDDIE HUBBARD's "Blue Spirits" on the "Liberty" labels of Blue Note BST 84196. Musicians include Freddie Hubbard - trumpet, James Spaulding - alto saxophone, Joe Henderson - tenor saxophone, Harold Mabern - piano, Larry Ridley - bass, Clifford Jarvis - drums, Big Black - congas, Kiane Zawadi - euphonium.

VINYL plays very well, clean, with occasional pops and ticks. A couple non-feelable hairline marks. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it.) Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic  and strong. No Skips. No locked grooves. Very good gloss.  The "Liberty" labels are faded. See photos.

ORIGINAL COVER is in good shape, Corners worn. Ringwear. Seams and spine generally clean and solid, minor cracking. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, INC, 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows wear, handwriting, ringwear. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
