TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale in my auctions - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" in great condition! Here is an early and great LP by one of those '60's teenage sensations, Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon - and is yet another album which is in very good overall condition - especially the vinyl. The album is on the original Swan Label (LP 502), and is entitled "The Explosive! Freddie Cannon", which was his very 1st album released! The LP includes 12 great songs including the smash hits "Tallahassee Lassie" and "Way Down Yonder In New Orleans" plus 10 others - all in MONO and in super nice shape (see pics above for all song titles and more). I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, Swan Label (LP-502) is very good with no serious issues - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also primarily clean, but does show some signs of aging and light ring wear on the back side, as well as some very small scuff marks in the corner/seam areas. Otherwise though, it is just fine! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, even though it's a bit less than perfect, in my opinion, the LP is in very nice overall shape, so please have at it. I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too----so please continue to check out my site. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
