Description
Here's a 1971 PRESSING of FRANK ZAPPA & MOTHERS LP 200 MOTELS. The soundtrack to Zappa's surreal musical film about life on the road. Ringo Starr was cast in the film, and it's notable for being the first feature shot on video and transferred to 35MM film. It's a fun and quirky LP that was recorded while Zappa was still with The Mothers, but released after Zappa had stepped out of the band to forward with other musical adventures. The vinyl is in beautiful NEAR MINT condition. This copy is the first pressing, and auto coupled. UAS-9956

This is the original release which came in a gatefold sleeve.
A 16-page booklet and (84x54cm) fold-out poster were also included.
The sides are auto-coupled for continuous playback on
automatic record changers. (Record 1 / Sides 1 & 4) (Record 2 / Sides 2 & 3)

Over-dubs & re-mix, reduction facilities: Whitney Studios. The COVER has great colors. The top left has a cut out, and there's a rip to the cover there. The bottom seam has wear near the spine for 3". The back cover has some wear, and a bottom corner ding by the spine. INSERTS- This comes with the covered OG poster, and the OG booklet. The poster adds value to this, as most were tacked to a cheesy wall The LP looks and plays perfectly NEAR MINT. The LP comes with it's OG inner which shows some pressing from the LP, and typical folds. VINYL-- NEAR MINT COVER - VG POSTER & BOOKLET- NEAR MINT (poster has folds just as it came when new)
