Francis Vincent Zappa "Lumpy Gravy" Verve V 8741 rare mono , yellow label , promotional , DJ copy
Zappa Collection-----------------------------
If you wish to buy more than one record to save on shipping, just send me a note so I know. Thanks. I will be listing about 30 Zappa records over the next 4 days, and when I'm done I will state as much. Thank you for your interest.
Jacket: VG Some ringwear , some light shop/shelf wear on corners, 2" seam split on top into mouth. Writing on back. Looks like radio station reference "POP-M"
Inner Sleeve: VG+ Custom verve sleeve some light wrinkling around disc shape some sun fading.
Disc: G+ light scratches both sides, paper scuffs both sides. Side 2 has deeper scratch about 2 1/2" long. Can be heard throughout first half of that program (mostly the conversation with some orchestra) does not skip.
I noticed that in some of the pictures there appears to be flaws in the vinyl. These are reflections. I list flaws, and if it could be seen in my pics it would be a poor condition throwaway!
I also do not clean the records. This allows you to choose the best method to clean them yourself, and also keeps the price to you down. If I cleaned them, it might disguise a defect!
Records are visually graded under good light source, using the Goldmine standard. If a very rare record is being listed with lots of wear, I will have to play grade it, and will mention that in the listing. I know and love the Goldmine standard, and have been using it for 30 years. I don't like sellers that just list the grade, without the detail. I try to list the various defects (if any) so you should not be surprised when you get your record.
I will charge media mail shipping on one record, and if you buy more than one I will not charge any additional shipping. This may require some trickery to get through the checkout process. In the past I have had to put the overage in the box being shipped, lately I have figured out how to return the overage through paypal. Records over $200 I will pay insurance and bump it up to Priority Mail.
