Album Review: The first Beat the Boots! box set was originally released on LP. These are all unretouched bootlegs of performances spanning from 1968 to 1981, released by Zappa as they originally appeared as a way to receive royalties on some of his most popular collector's items. The sound quality varies from bootleg to bootleg, but is often quite good.
