CONDITION OF VINYL (visual grading):

SIDE ONE: EXCELLENT

SIDE TWO: EXCELLENT

Both sides of this rare UK original are in excellent condition.  The vinyl is glossy and appears virtually unmarked and unworn.  There are a few light marks when held to the light.  Both labels are in great condition with only a few light spindle marks on both labels.  The 'KT' tax code is embossed in the side one label.  It would be very difficult to find a better copy.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: EXCELLENT

The front laminated flipback single sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse is in excellent condition.  The cover is in stunning condition for its age and the unlaminated rear is in great condition.  The back cover shows very little wear (see picture) and there is only a small amount of grubbiness which is very unusual.  There are very few creases to the sleeve.  The spine is intact and readable with virtually no damage.  Overall this sleeve is in stunning condition. 

COMMENTS:

This LP is essential for any Frank Zappa fan or collector.  This patents pending Garrod & Lofthouse cover is very unusual due to the lack of the 'mono' text on the front cover.  I have never seen another copy which does not have the 'mono' or 'stereo' text in the top right-hand corner which is normally placed between the 'R' and 'S' of 'MOTHERS'.  This stunning rarity should please most collectors.  Good luck bidding!

PACKAGING INFORMATION:

This record will be sent to you in a high quality cardboard record mailing envelope and it will be protected by two strong cardboard stiffeners in order to prevent unwanted bending during transportation. The record will be placed in a PVC outer sleeve and “sandwiched” between the cardboard stiffeners. The envelope will be sealed with strong brown tape.
