One of Canada's most obscure and most sought after film soundtrack recordings.
Culled from the cult 1970 Quebec sexploitation (soft porn) film of the same name, l'Initiation features
some great Psych, R&B and Funk, with all tracks written and directed by one of Quebec's top composers, François Cousineau and with top-notch arrangements by Yves Lapierre and Roger Gravel.
This is the coveted soundtrack that includes the monster track "Psychedelic Party" with it's erotic scat vocals by Patsy Gallant and it's awesome drum breaks, swirling organ and fuzz guitar.
Also features two rare tracks by a young Diane Dufresne, recorded two years before her own solo LP career.
Add the unique "one-off" London off-shoot label created and pressed exclusively for this OST, as well as the superb cover artwork (by Quebcois artist Jean Paul Bernier), .......and you have one of the most-collectible Canadian albums from the period.
