This item is the two record set of Leoncavello's 'I Pagliacci' conducted by Lovro von Matacic and featuring Franco Corelli - they are on the Columbia label in the sought after SAX series with the catalogue numbers SAX 2399 and SAX 2400. They are in fantastic condition and have clearly been played rarely and with care - examining them very carefully a couple of times and under different lights, the only marks I can see very light on one side probably caused by the record being placed in the inner sleeve, and I had to really look carefully to see these . I certainly can't see anything that would affect the playing whatsoever. The sleeves are bright and shiny and in great condition - the only defect worth mentioning (if it can be counted as one) is that one of the 'Stereophonic EMI Recording' stickers is peeling slightly at the edges. In short, these two records look pretty much as they must have done when they left the record shop half a century ago. I've been selling second-hand vinyl for over twenty-five years and I always try to ensure that my descriptions are accurate - particularly on ebay, I don't want to disappoint people. I'm happy to ship around the world and they will be packed carefully and securely to arrive in the same fantastic condition.
