Original 1967? Egyptian mono release on Sono Cairo (EGYPT) (catalog # EST 52 / EST 53, made by Sono Cairo U.A.R. for United Arab Republic - Ministry Of Culture), with two LP's inside box-set.

An Anthology by Tiberiu Alexandru, with research made in collaboration with Emile Azar Wahba.

This copy does not contain the booklet. The artists and track titles are taken from the discogs page for this release (they do match these LP's exactly, there is no question that this is the same release.)

One of the records has a serious condition issue which makes part of one track unplayable. Aside from that this collection is still very worthwhile as the other 37 tracks play well and there is an incredible amount of truly amazing music on here.

CONDITION: Cover G / Vinyl F   the box has seen a lot of wear and is falling apart at the seams; record 1 is excellent, VG+ to VG++, and plays well; record 2 has a small chip taken out of the extreme edge, with a slight fracture running in a few inches (this is NOT a crack so it does not affect play much at all): the chip does not affect any of the grooves on side 3, side 3 is entirely playable with some tics at the very beginning; the chip makes the first 10 seconds or so of track 1 on side 4 unplayable, the rest of side 4 plays well.

All records are packaged securely, protected by both stiff and cushion packaging, with vinyl (in original innersleeve) removed from cover and placed safely in poly sleeve to help prevent seam splitting during transit.
