Description

This item is the very rare LP album Folk Festival Of The Blues. It was released on Pye Records in 1963.

The sleeve is in EX- condition and the record is in EX condition. 

The LP features recordings by Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Howlin' Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson. Most importantly this copy has been signed by a number of blues greats including Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Ransome Knowling and Willie Smith. We believe they may have signed this record at a live performance in 1964 in Chorlton. If you put 'muddy waters manchester willie smith' into your search engine you will find a link to this concert and interestingly a photo of a ticket stub for the event that was signed by a number of the performers including Otis Spann and Muddy Waters whose signature appear to be the same as those on our LP.
