Description
I should probably keep this for my own collection. The Charles River Valley Boy's "Bluegrass and Old Timey Music" on Mount Auburn Records ( Mt. Auburn 47 label ) MTA 1. Recorded June 1962 and produced by Paul A. Rothchild with cover and design by Eric Von Schmidt. I believe this is the first issue of this record that was also released on Prestige /Folklore. 16 tracks featuring Bob Siggins, banjo/ Ethan Singer, mandolin & fiddle/ John Cooke, guitar/ Fritz Richmond, washtub bass. The shinny cover is incredible with tight seams, 85% centered spline and the slightest wear. It also houses a neat 8 page booklet of notes and lyrics. The vinyl is a shinny VG+ with some surface noise but because of the nature of this music it doesnt get in the way very much. I placed a reserve on this one because i really would'nt mind keeping it.
