Description

FLEETWOOD MAC
‘Self Titled’ Debut Lp

Original First Issue 1968 UK Pressed Lp Housed In A Laminated Sleeve.

Fleetwood Mac's debut LP was a highlight of the late-'60s British blues boom. Green's always inspired playing, the capable (if erratic) songwriting, and the general panache of the band as a whole placed them leagues above the overcrowded field. Elmore James is a big influence on this set, particularly on the tunes fronted by Jeremy Spencer ("Shake Your Moneymaker," "Got to Move"). Spencer's bluster, however, was outshone by the budding singing and songwriting skills of Green. The guitarist balanced humor and vulnerability on cuts like "Looking for Somebody" and "Long Grey Mare," and with "If I Loved Another Woman," he offered a glimpse of the Latin-blues fusion that he would perfect with "Black Magic Woman."

The Lp Was Released On The ‘Blue Horizon’ Label () And Comes To Ebay In Ex+/Ex- Condition (Vinyl Is In Superb Condition, Cover Shows Spinewear)

Mint: The record itself is in Brand New condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items (such as lyric sheets, booklets, posters etc) are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there s very little lessening in Sound Quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good+: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occassional light scratch . Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without major defect) is acceptable.

Postage & Packaging Details

I do combined shipping so if you win more than one item it will work out a lot cheaper on the postage if i send them in the same mailer.

All records are sent securely packaged in purpose made mailers with 2 cardboard stiffeners. I always remove the record from the outer sleeve (to avoid seam split whilst in transit) and then insert the record and sleeve into a brand new polythene sleeve.
