Description

  • Fleetwood Mac released their 12th studio album "Tusk" in October 1979 on Warner Bros. Records. This double album contains six singles including "Sara" and "Think About Me." The album sold over four million copies at a then shockingly high price of $16 which equates to over $56 in today's dollars.

  • This copy (2HS 3350) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. The textured original outer cover sleeve with the embossed picture is easily VG+ as are the four card stock inner sleeves. Please see the pictures. Both discs have deep groove labels, test play cleanly and are VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Ken Perry at Capitol Records and was pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Los Angeles. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched 2HS-1-3350 LW21 F21 and is stamped MASTERED BY CAPITOL ?.

  • In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with two high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeves to hold the vinyl discs and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

  • Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.

  • This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 41 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
