FLEETWOOD MAC THE PIOUS BIRD OF GOOD OMEN
Label : Blue Horizon Catalogue No : S 7-63215 Matrix : 7-63855 A1 // B1
This is the rare UK press of The Pious Bird of Good Omen by Fleetwood Mac. This is a complete UK Press on the Blue Horizon label, it has the earliest A1//B1 matrix and the earliest laminated Quality Stationery sleeve. This label is colour is light blue, not the standard blue and not white.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational jet black high gloss, there are no signs of heavy play at all. There are just a couple of very slight marks. The Blue Horizon label is bold and bright with sharp text and it is exceptionally clean. There is the slightest spindle wear.
On playing the sound is Excellent, extremely rich and vibrant. There is a little momentary background hiss in places, but the sound is extremely clear with superb separation throughout.
The 1st press laminated sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The image is still extremely sharp, the laminate is glossy and the colours are rich and warm. The photo is sharp and the text is exceptionally clear. There is a small price scuff on the back of the unlaminated sleeve. The spine is firm and the whole sleeve is solid.
