Here’s a very, very rare opportunity to own an extraordinarily rare Fleetwood Mac acetate copy of the single, “Don’t Stop.” This was a test copy created for both the band and the Warner Brothers promotion and marketing teams. It isn't the final mix, nor an identical version of what eventually became the more commonly known version from their album “Rumours”. On the "B" side is a recording of Lindsey Buckingham's "Never Goin' Back Again."
Contrary to comments made based on an earlier sale of a similar copy that sold in 2021, this record was 'pressed' by Capital Records. WB didn't own a pressing facility and commonly used Capital as one of their preferred pressing companies. Also, there was never any intention by the group to release a record for Capital as they were under a long-term contract with Warner Brothers.
