Here’s your chance to get a hold of a very rare Fleetwood Mac acetate single of “Don’t Stop” it has been confirmed to be a different mix from the more commonly known version from their album “Rumours”.


I have recorded this to a cassette for reference and will be able to provide a copy of it for whoever buys this I will send them a duplicate so you don’t have to play it to hear. I am unsure how many plays this has but it plays VG with little ticks in some parts. At the beginning of the song you can hear Stevie Nicks say “4” and then the song begins. You can tell it is an unfinished master when compared to the album version. Now this was released with Capitol instead of Warner Bros. So it’s unclear why that is the case and I have not done enough research to understand why it’s on a different label. Feel free to message with any questions. I would be happy to send you an audio recording of it but unfortunately I don’t have an interface to be able to digitize the recording so for now it’s on a cassette. Happy bidding!

The mix sounds unfinished and the mixes sound slightly different on each side. Very much piano forward. Less guitar in both these mixes than the album version. You can definitely tell a difference in the version from the “Rumours” LP. Sounds unproduced and doesn’t sound like it’s fully mastered.
